Ballantyne was built from the 1990s on, on both sides of Highway 521. Homes range from townhouses and patio homes to large houses around Ballantyne Country Club, many with formal rooms, bonus rooms and long staircases.

Chemist Randy Rayborn built that formula in 1985. Drying takes three to seven hours, and no soaked backing means no stains creeping back up a fortnight later.
